The Theory Behind the Transition to Natural Shampoo:

Build-up Detox: Synthetic hair products often contain silicones, polymers, waxes, and other occlusive agents that coat the hair shaft and scalp to create artificial smoothness and shine. These coatings can take multiple washes to fully break down and rinse out, especially without harsh sulphates to strip them away.

Scalp Recalibration: Many mainstream shampoos contain sulphates and detergents that strip the scalp of natural oils, leading your scalp to overproduce oil to compensate.
