Description
This is where the Gel Heel Cups come to the rescue. Placing Dr Kez Chirolab® Gel Heel Cups in your shoe may provide a rest from your heel spur, from digging into your sensitive and inflamed soft tissues giving them a chance to heal. We have designed our gel heel cups with exactly the right amount of softness to provide relief, but also support...the perfect balance of both! Not too firm (which makes a heel spur worse) and not too soft (too unsupportive, resulting in sore ankles) We want our advice to help people expedite their healing faster, not make them worse!
A common issue that Dr Kez (Dr of Chiro) has seen in her 20 years of clinical practice, is rigid orthotics being prescribed while people are trying to recover from a heel spur. Yes, flat feet can certainly aggravate plantar fasciitis but...putting a rigid orthotic on a heel spur is not going to help resolve this issue at all. Start by removing the orthotics and replacing them with the Gel Heel Cups. (Put them somewhere that you won’t lose them 😉 ). Once the pain of the spur is gone, then gradually wean back into your orthotics again, to further support the eradication of the tension on the plantar fascia.
