Are Kirofix® and Trauma Relief Cream the same thing?

Yes, they are the same formulation.

Trauma Cream was created by Dr Kez (Chiro) many years ago and has been used in her chiropractic practice on patients only, for a long time. When we later introduced a larger pump bottle version for customers who wanted a bigger size, we decided to give it a new name: Kirofix®.

Over time, this meant we had two products with different names but the same formulation, which understandably caused a little confusion!

To simplify things moving forward, we are gradually transitioning the name Trauma Cream to Kirofix®, so it will simply be the same product available in two sizes:

• 100g tub
• 250ml pump bottle

If you’ve previously purchased Trauma Cream, you’ll recognise the formulation, just with the updated Kirofix® name. So keep an eye out as we make this transition!

Trio of Creams FAQ

Are the Trio of Creams made in Australia?

Yes. All three creams in the Trio are made in Australia using carefully selected botanical ingredients. We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure every batch meets the high standards we expect for our own family and customers.

Are the creams 100% natural?

Yes. Our creams are formulated using plant-based ingredients, minerals and essential oils. We avoid synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals and unnecessary fillers. We are happy to say they are toxic-free!

Are the creams vegan?
Yes, all three creams in the Trio are 100% vegan friendly and contain no animal-derived ingredients.

Do I have to use all three creams together?

Not at all. Each cream can be used individually as part of your routine. However, many customers enjoy using them together because each cream has a different purpose and they work synergistically together. The Trio of Creams simply gives you more flexibility depending on the area and situation.

Why didn’t you just make one cream with everything in it?

Great question! During formulation we discovered that combining all the ingredients into one cream would mean reducing the quantity of each botanical extract to maintain stability.  Rather than dilute the formulas, we created three specialised creams, each with its own carefully balanced blend of ingredients. This allows each cream to remain rich in botanical ingredients while still being easy to apply where you want it.

Do the Trio of Creams come in larger sizes?

Yes. Our creams are available in both100g tubs and larger value 250ml pump bottles, making them easy to keep at home or use regularly as part of your routine. The Trio Traveller version is also available if you prefer smaller sizes for travel, the gym bag, or trying the range for the first time.

What do the creams smell like?

Each cream has its own natural botanical scent created by the essential oils in the formula.  Because we don’t use synthetic fragrances or artificial parfum, the aromas come purely from the plant ingredients themselves. Many customers say Kirofix®/Trauma Cream has a fresh lemongrass-like scent, Bone Aid™ Cream has a soft pleasant herbal aroma and Heativate® HEAT Cream has a warm, aromatic scent.  Unlike many heat creams on the market, Heativate® does not have that strong offensive “locker room” smell often associated with traditional heating products.

How does Heativate® Heat Cream compare to traditional heat creams?

Heativate® Heat Cream is a botanical warming cream designed to create a comforting warming sensation on the skin. Many people notice the warming sensation becomes more noticeable when their body temperature increases through warm environments such as saunas, movement, exercise, sweating, eating spicy foods or daily activity. The 100% natural formula uses plant-based ingredients and essential oils rather than the strong synthetic, toxic ingredients often found in traditional heat creams. And it doesn’t smell like a football locker room!

Can the Trio of Creams be used every day?

Many families keep the 100% natural Trio of Creams on hand for everyday body care for the family. However, as with any topical product, avoid use on broken skin or sensitive areas, and always follow the directions on the packaging.

I’m not sure which cream I need. Is the Trio of Creams a good place to start?

Yes, that’s exactly why the Trio of Creams (especially the travel size) exists! Each cream has a different purpose and botanical blend, so having all three gives you the flexibility to see which one you naturally reach for most often. And they all work synergistically together so having all three is a great option. Many customers start with the Trio and then later reorder in the larger pump size.
