Let's Dive A Little Deeper...
If you're looking to give your body a boost, you're in for a treat because our NourishEm Greens blend is a superfood squad of whole foods for your overall well-being.
It’s been carefully crafted to make sure you get a super-sized concentrated dose of antioxidants from all the highly beneficial powdered whole foods packed inside. As you don’t get all your nutrients from one type of veg, (and how boring would that be!), we’ve chosen the best of the best to provide your body with an essential smorgasboard that’s a nutritional fiesta, and your body's the guest of honor. Every whole food ingredient is playing a vital role in keeping your wellness routine feeling like you just won the lottery.
Now, here's the green juicy scoop: Research says that when you mix and match antioxidants from different veggies that then work together synergistically, the effects are even more mind-blowing than the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks on New Years Eve. So, we've got not one, not two, but 14 different ingredients in the NourishEm Greens blend, all doing their part to maximise the antioxidant extravaganza. This helps with absorption so your body gets the full benefits on offer. If you’re going to eat your greens, you may as well do it right, right?!
Why Plant-Based, Pure Whole Foods?
Our blends are the definition of "plant-based and pure," and they're here to show your body the VIP treatment it deserves. Why?
Your internal system is a picky eater in cahoots with Mother Nature with a strict guest list for the nutrients allowed in. Natural whole foods get the golden ticket, flowing through your system smoothly while anything with chemicals or more processing than a Hollywood script (fast food for example) gets a different treatment. Overstaying its welcome in your stomach and digestive system longer than ideal, leading to issues.
So, your body is an exclusive foodie club. The good stuff gets the green light to go through while the crap gets…well…the warning of red flashing lights!
To keep your body doing the happy dance, we've crafted our blends with nothing but the good stuff – all-natural, plant-based whole foods that would make even Mother Nature herself nod in approval. NO nasties, NO fillers, NO artificial sweeteners, just the good stuff!
We're talking a superstar lineup of ingredients: spinach, moringa, broccoli sprout, kale, papaya, coconut, stevia leaf, lemon peel, red bell pepper, barley grass, barberry bark, parsley leaf, alfalfa sprouts, and wheat grass – they're the A listers of the antioxidant world!
Together, they make up a culinary dream team, ready to kickstart your wellness routine.

What is an antioxidant?
What exactly is an antioxidant, you ask?
Picture antioxidants as your body's cleanup crew – they're the 'janitors' of your system. Now, we all know life can get messy, and that's where these tidy folks come in handy. They help clear away the 'garbage' in your body called 'free radicals.’ Antioxidants are readily available in whole foods, so this is why Greens is such an easy way to incorporate them into your daily food intake.
FAQ's & Serving Sizes
Serving Sizes
1 scoop/serve = approx 6g = 1 cup leafy greens
Mix with your fav liquid of choice. This could be water, coconut water, juice or your preferred mylk. You can also add it to coconut yoghurt or smoothies.
Why so many ingredients?
Now, here's the research lowdown, getting your antioxidants from a whole food diet is the best way to go. Taking them solo? Not so good and way less exciting. There are many single ingredient powders (with fillers and artificial unpronounceable extras) on the market but, mostly, they just don’t cut it and are a waste of your dough. You deserve the best and an investment in your overall wellness is worth doing well.
We're all about "whole foods" as healing, enjoyed as Mumma Nature intended, not just isolating single nutrients. When you include a large range of whole foods, guaranteed you’ll be getting a massive intake of what your body needs, rather than eating just from a few small food groups.
If you’re having trouble doing this, then the PlantEm range is exactly what you need! The NourishEm Greens contains a large array of nutrient rich whole foods to make getting your daily serve as easy as saying “broccoli sprouts”…imagine how good and energised you’ll feel!
So, grab a scoop, mix it up, and make this greens blend a daily ritual. Your body will thank you with vitality, energy, and a whole lot of zest for life!
What is the difference between stevia leaf and stevia sweetener?
There’s a big difference between the stevia you buy at Woolies to stevia leaf.
Stevia products found on supermarket shelves don't contain the whole stevia leaf. They’re non-nutrient and made from a highly refined stevia leaf extract called rebaudioside A (Reb-A). Stevia extract is a highly refined and concentrated form of the sweet compounds found in the stevia leaf. It is often further processed to isolate the sweetest components. In fact, many stevia products have very little stevia in them at all as they are blended with other additives such as erythritol and dextrose. Reb-A is about 200 times sweeter than table sugar. Usually, this is mostly used as a sweetener and not for any nutritional and healing benefits.
Although stevia leaf can be used as a sweetener in its natural form (it’s less sweet than its processed extract cousin), we have chosen to use it in our greens blend for other purposes. It’s been used for 1000’s of years for this very purpose. We use the whole leaf, not just a component of it, so you are getting the full benefits of its properties.
So why settle for the 'extract' when you can have the 'real deal'? Stevia leaf isn't just a sweet secret; it's actually a health hero packed with natural goodness. A little goodness garden right in our Greens blend, it's got all the good with none of the ‘extraction'.
Why did you use Moringa over Spirulina?
Now, Spirulina is no slouch; it's got its own merits. But let's just say Moringa flexes a little harder and won, hands down, when it came to the vitamin and nutrient game. Its higher concentration of nutrition was a no brainer and, as we wanted to create the best Greens in the health game, why settle for anything less than the best?
Moringa and Spirulina each have their unique nutritional profiles, however, there are a few points where Moringa is often considered advantageous and worth mentioning:
- Nutrient Density: Moringa is often hailed as one of the most nutrient-dense plants on the planet. It's packed with a much higher concentration of vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin C, and several B vitamins, folate, as well as essential minerals like calcium, iron (over half your daily needs!), magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.
- Antioxidants: With over 90 nutrients, moringa is a potent source of antioxidants, particularly quercetin, chlorogenic acid, and beta-carotene. It has over 40 known anti-oxidant properties, about double that of spirulina.
- Bioavailability: Moringa's nutrients are often considered highly bioavailable in pure leaf powdered form as they are easily recognised by your body. This simply means your body gives the green light to absorb and use them effectively. Sweet! As it’s combined with other Vit C rich ingredients in our Greens blend, notably Papaya, this helps the absorption of essential nutrients such as iron.
- Ayurvedic Tradition: One of the most effective and essential herbs, Moringa, also cooly known as the Miracle Tree, has been used in Ayurvedic practices for centuries and celebrated for its potential benefits.
What are the early signs of a poor diet and how can whole foods help?
When you eat foods that aren’t so…errrm…great and lacking in nutrients, your body goes a little (sometimes a lot!) haywire, and you can feel, see and smell the signs. Bloating, indigestion, gas explosions, feeling lethargic weak and needing a nap, lack of concentration, getting sick all the time and taking ages to bounce back, less able to complete daily tasks, gut and bowel issues such as diarrhoea or constipation, mood changes (snappy much??)…it’s a list I can keep adding to but lets continue on!
Now, let's talk about the whole food approach – Mamma Nature's buffet of wonders. When you go whole, you're not taking the minimalist approach as some may think; you're getting the whole shebang! Nutrients? Check. Antioxidants? Overflowing! Sulforaphane? Totally. Phytochemicals? Oh, absolutely. Fiber? You bet. Protein? You're in for an all-round treat!
It’s a great goal to aim for 30 different plants a week. This boosts the diversity and health of your gut microbiome and if you just belched up your burger at the thought, its actually not as hard as you think. It’s not just fruit and veg that count, it also includes grains, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices. By talking NourishEm Greens, you’re already covering 14! If you’re using our other PlantEm Essentials range, in total that’s covering 30 and some!!
No shortcuts, no skimping – just the full monty of nutrition. You're not just nibbling on a single ingredient; you're savouring the entire symphony of goodness that nature intended. And how simple to do by taking NourishEm Greens!
So, step away from the fast food drive-thru and into the fabulous world of our Greens blend. It’s here to make your body feel like it's strutting down the runway of life, serving up sass, class, and all that green goodness. It’s plant-based perfection!
